According to the Law on Entertainment Activities the Association is the holder of public authority, which is confirmed by the RS Ministry of Culture Authorization No.  6-034 131 / 05 dated 21.10.2005.
The Association bodies carried out their statutory obligation according to the plan. There were nine sessions of Association Assembly with 67 items of the agenda, and the Managing Board had 35 sessions with 211 items on the agenda. The Supervisory Board had sessions if required, while the Court of honor had no activities.

High Expert Committee for members licensing had 9 working sessions having reviewed 450 cases of entertainers and showbiz artists. Assignment of entertainment titles and pop categories was done. The titles of showbiz artists were awarded to 10 of our members: Slobodan Vidovic, professor of music, accordion, I-071a; Vuk Kurtovic, guitar II-004A; Zoran Popovic, professor of music, keyboards I-156A; Halid Muslimovic, vocalist II-107A; Radovan Tomic, guitar I-082A; Maja Tatic, vocal soloist I-292A; Slavisa Guja, vocal soloist, guitarist IV-001A; Bozidar Vucur, professor of music, keyboard VI-001A; Emir Basic, vocal soloist I-190A; Igor Vukojevic, vocal soloist III-005a.

On the basis of the Law on Entertainment Activities, and Association Statute, all necessary Rulebooks regulating matters within the jurisdiction of the Association with a public authority were brought. We keep records of entertainers and showbiz artists, issue membership cards, we do contracting work for the music performances and concerts of our membership. We regulated the manner of public pop events advertising and give our opinion according to regulations how to organize public show business events.

During the work we have found certain deficiencies in entertainment activities, but we, having a longer commitment and a few constructive agreements with the Ministry of Education and Culture, succeeded in the effort, and finally adopted the Law on getting status of independent artist in the Republic of Srpska. Also, our initiatives and prolonged activity resulted in the adoption of the Law on Amendments to Law on entertainment activities.

More than 1000 members joined the Association, and the 22 members were awarded with the honorary membership and presented the Charter of honorary membership. The Association awarded the Posthumous gold medallions for 20 deceased entertainers and assigned awards to prominent members.

Several humanitarian actions and numerous charity concerts were organized.
Several music festivals were organized such as: "International Music Festival Banja Luka," Folk Music Festival "Ilidžanske staze", "Young music talents’ competition, Festival of Popular Music "Prijedorfest", and children's festivals in our branch towns, such as "Children singing hits" in Pale,"New Year's karaoke" in Prijedor and so on.
In addition, there are numerous activities underway in the branches of the Association.
